Tune in Tuesday (9)

Ginger over at GReads! is doing something special this month: playlists based on books. This week I've picked Sinister Kid by The Black Keys to represent Todd Hewitt from The Knife of Never Letting Go and The Ask and the Answer (I have yet to read Monsters of Men).

Not only are The Black Keys a great band; I think Todd would actually listen to them.

  1. I have a weird relationship with the Black Keys. When they first popped up on my radar, they came off to me with that "I'm too cool to associate with indie bands" attitude. But now.. they're one of the most "trendy" indie bands. Sigh.

    1. I love the Arctic Monkeys (I think you know this, but it just needs to be repeated).

  4. A tortured mind and sharp blade are perfect for Todd. I love him. See if you would still choose this one after you finish Monsters of Men. Hmmm.

Also I like this band. They're so hipstercool.

    1. The Knife of Never Letting go is a wonderful book--and a great series (although I haven't read Monsters of Men yet).
