I have two songs that I want to share this week. The first is Divergent related. I didn't like Divergent that much. But This Providence's Beautiful Rescue came to mind. I mean, Four and Tris jumping off of buildings? Falling for one another (pardon the pun).Wait. Four and Tris. FourTris. Fortress? Nevermind, that probably doesn't mean anything.
I also saw an Irish band perform this weekend. Which involved a lot of fiddle playing and a lot of banging on an empty keg of beer (very interesting, but very good). That immediately made me go home to enjoy Mumford & Sons.
I love Mumford and Sons, at first I thought you were saying you had seem them play and I was going to be all types of jealous. I do wish they would go on a proper US tour!
Omg...you kill me...I will now always think of them as Fourtress! First song was very fitting though. BUT HOLY WOW! Little Lion Man?! This is my favorite Mumford & Sons song (actually featured it on Tune In a few weeks ago...great minds...haha). You didn't f*ck it up this time, my dear. :D
I love M&S, but my favorite song of theirs changes every day. I do have a stabby-sounding playlist, and this song is on it. Along with White Blank Page.
I love love love LOVE love Mumford & Sons! They are one of my all time favourite bands. Little Lion Man is a great song although I think my favourite is After the Storm. Their music makes me feel a little teary sometimes - they make me feel so whole.
I enjoyed the first one but its kinda over shadowed by my love for M&S. I'd love to see them live one day.
Little Lion Man is my second most played song on Spotify right now. Thanks for giving me an excuse to listen to it again. I am probably driving everyone in my house crazy.

ReplyDeleteNo. Just an Irish band. Although the Irish band I saw was more punk, less folk.
DeleteThis is probably my favorite M&S song...seriously "I really F*CKED it up this time, didn't I, my dear" GAH!! SO. GOOD! And that banjo!
ReplyDeleteI also really like that song for Tris & Four (who I love! :P).
Awesome picks!
My Tune in Tuesday post :)
It's my favorite too! Thank you! I will now refer to them as FourTris.
DeleteFortress, hahaha. Killing me.
ReplyDeleteYay for Mumford & Sons! Love them :)

ReplyDeleteI can't tell if you're quoting the song or telling me that I didn't screw up today's post...

I've not heard of After the Storm but I will be sure to check them out. I think they've popped up on my Pandora before, but I'm not sure.
